    3. Frederick W. 'Ted' Willett, 62 Worked in sporting goods; avid boater, fisherman HARWICH PORT - Frederick W. "Ted" Willett, 62, died Saturday at his home. He was the husband of Kathleen (Joyce) Willett for 38 years. Mr. Willett graduated from Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree in 1960. He attained the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of 13. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Stonehill College in 1964. He began his career as a pharmaceutical salesman for Parke, Davis and Co., then moved into manufacturing sales for 15 years. He purchased Marciano's Sporting Goods in Mansfield in 1986, operated it for eight years and sold the business in 1994. He then headed operations and sales for family-owned businesses Pridewear Inc. and Sports Supplies of New England. Mr. Willett was a Cape Cod resident for the past six years. He was a member of Stonehorse Yacht Club and an enthusiastic boater and fisherman. He also enjoyed collecting and repairing American Flyer trains, and built a railroad village in his workshop that his grandsons and visitors enjoyed. Besides his wife, survivors include two sons, Frederick W. "Teddy" Willett Jr. of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Andrew B. Willett of Marshfield; two daughters, J. Kate Duggan of Pleasanton, Calif., and J. Elizabeth Willett of Los Angeles; a sister, Marty Murphy of Canton; and three grandsons. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today at Nickerson Funeral Home, 87 Crowell Road, Chatham. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Holy Redeemer Church, Highland Avenue, Chatham, followed by burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Harwich.
