ELAINE MARIE (DUMONT) BARNEY - Attleboro 01:00 AM EST on Friday, November 19, 2004 ELAINE MARIE (DUMONT) BARNEY, 46, of Martin Street, a certified nurse's aide, died yesterday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Robert J. Barney. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of Doris (Bourgeois) Dumont of Plainville, Mass., and the late Arthur Dumont, she had lived in Plainville before moving to Attleboro many years ago. Mrs. Barney had been a CNA at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home for many years, and had also been a sales representative for AVON products for several years. She enjoyed game shows and visits to local beaches. Besides her husband and mother, she leaves two sons, Mark and John Barney, both of Attleboro; two sisters, Carol Roderick in New York and Patricia Powers of Plainville; four brothers, Donald Dumont of Pawtucket, Robert Dumont of Rehoboth, Brian Dumont of West Warwick and Michael Dumont of North Attleboro; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Cook Chapel of Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 160 Park St.
