Published: 10/30/04 Eleanor Charbonneau Spring TICONDEROGA - Eleanor Charbonneau Spring, 84, of Crown Heights, passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at the Moses-Ludington Hospital of Ticonderoga. Born in AuSable Forks, March 5, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Cain) Charbonneau. Mrs. Spring has been a resident of Ticonderoga since 1951. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ticonderoga and the First United Methodist Church Women. She was involved in her husband's business, Spring Oil Co. of Ticonderoga as a receptionist until their retirement. Mrs. Spring was a Lady Shriner (LOASA) and she also served as Cub Scout Den Mother for many years. She was predeceased by four sisters, Margaret Kelley, Viola Gorman, Frances Oree and Martha Falcon. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Fayette O. Spring, whom she married on Nov. 25, 1939; three daughters, Barbara S. Cole and her husband LeRoy of Staatsburg, N.Y., Linda S. Brown and her husband Michael of Ticonderoga, Faylene S. Whalen and her husband Terrence of Pittsfield, Mass.; and one son, Thomas F. Spring of Guilderland, N.Y. She is the loving grandmother of five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga. A funeral service will take place Monday, 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Ticonderoga. The Rev. Prudence Bertolino, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Valley View Cemetery of Ticonderoga. Donations in her memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, Wicker Street, Ticonderoga, NY 12883.
