Tuesday, November 16, 2004 Gerard H. Vigue 1958-2004 AUGUSTA -- Gerard H. Vigue, 46, of Augusta, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, at his home. He was born in Augusta on July 11, 1958, the son of Gerald and Rachel (O'Connor) Vigue. He grew up in Augusta and began working for the city of Augusta as a seasonal employee at 15. His work continued until he became a full-time employee. At the time of his death, Gerard was a foreman for the Department of Parks and Cemeteries and had worked for the city for 31 years. Gerard loved his dogs, Max, Duke and Dutchess. He enjoyed playing the lottery, snowmobiling and working in his gardens. Mr. Vigue was predeceased by his parents, Gerald Vigue and Rachel Blais. He is survived by his wife, Ronda Vigue; his children, Paul Vigue of Augusta and Jessica Vigue and her boyfriend, Matthew A. Trow of Augusta; his stepsons, Travis and Justin Finley; a brother, Mark Vigue and his wife, Brenda, of Augusta; his sisters, Valerie Russell and her husband, Joe, of Randolph, Theresa Paquette and her fiancZ, Norman Arbor, of Pittston and Loretta Lathe and her husband, Andy, of Augusta; his grandchildren, Maggie-Ann Vigue, Kayla Trow and Abbey Trow; his stepgrandchild, Kaden Finley; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Forest Grove Cemetery in Augusta. There will be a gathering for friends and family at Ronda's home following the service.
