Christella L. Bridge dies at 106 November 17, 2004 Christella L. Bridge, 106, of Rutland, died Nov. 15, 2004, at Eden Park Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 3, 1898, in Rutland, the daughter of Alphonse and Elisabeth (Rousseau) Langlois. She received her education in Rutland. Mrs. Bridge worked at the Connecticut State Laboratory until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling and attending operas. Survivors include a nephew, W. Joseph Gagnon of Pittsford; several great-nieces and great-nephews, and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. John Bridge; three brothers; two sisters; and a niece. A service of remembrance will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the Barnard Funeral Home in Pittsford. Burial will take place in Rose Hill Memorial Park in Rocky Hill, Conn., at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
