    3. Anita Landry Anita Landry 1918 - 2004 EASTHAMPTON - Anita (DeBarge) Landry, 86, of Northampton Street, Easthampton, died Wednesday, Nov. 3 in Baystate Medical Center, Springfield. She was born July 21, 1918 in Easthampton, the daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Marchand) DeBarge. She attended Notre Dame Parochial Schools and was a graduate of Easthampton High School. She was a lifelong communicant of the Notre Dame Parish, a former member of the Circle Notre Dame and the Northampton Country Club. She was the widow of George Landry who died in 1998. She was employed by the former Ruby Furniture Co. of Easthampton. She was a co-founder of the Landry Furniture Co. with her husband in Easthampton in 1956, and was a director and bookkeeper of the company. She is survived by two sons, Robert Landry of Easthampton and Frank Landry of Pasadena, Texas; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Francene Besko, died in 1977, and a granddaughter, Melinda Besko, died in 2001. The funeral will be Wednesday Nov. 10 at 9:15 a.m. at the Mitchell Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Notre Dame Church. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, all of Easthampton.
