    3. Marie E. Legendre, 77, of Franklin Sunday, November 21, 2004 FRANKLIN -- Marie E. (Proulx) Legendre, 77, of Franklin, died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at her home. She was the wife of Edmond J. Legendre who died in 1996. Born in Lawrence, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Alma (Boissonaeult) Proulx. She was raised and educated in Lawrence, and had lived in Franklin for more than 45 years. Until retiring, she worked as an attendant at the former Medfield State Hospital for 29 years. She was an active member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, and volunteered much of her time at the Franklin Senior Center with bingo and assisting with the Meals on Wheels program. She was also a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, and a communicant of St. Blaise Church in Bellingham. She leaves six sons, Leo J. Legendre of Holliston, Robert P. Legendre of North Attleboro, David M. Legendre of Florida, Raymond S. Legendre of Woonsocket, R.I., Stephen J. Legendre of Attleboro, Dennis T. Legendre of Live Oak, Fla.; a daughter, Claire M. (Parslow) Green of Franklin; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Alfred Proulx, Yvonne Cunningham, Theresa Plourde, Jeannette Barbeau and Doris Theberge. The funeral will take place Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 8:15 a.m. from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., Franklin, with a funeral Mass at St. Blaise Church, 1158 Main St., Rte. 126, Bellingham, at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in the family lot in Cedar Knoll Cemetery in Taunton. Calling hours at the funeral home are today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Donations in her memory sent to the Friends of Franklin, 50 Corbin St., Franklin, MA 02038, would be appreciated.
