Death Notices (11/23/04) THERIAULT, Lena (nee Ritchel) Peacefully, on Sunday November 20th, 2004 at 2:55 am, at the Peter D. Clark Long Term Care Center in Ottawa, Lena Theriault (nee Ritchel) left us to meet in heaven, her late husband Frank and her daughter Marie-Claire (Mimi). She was born in Brantford, Ont. on April 30th, 1921. Daughter of the late Henry Ritchel and Clara Knowles, she will lovingly be remembered by her sons Gordon (Carla White), Ronny (Louise Helie), and her daughters Shirley (John Critchley), and Patricia (Patrick Langlois); her brother Harry (Doris Knowles), and her sister Edith Austin. Lena was the loving grandmother of Sonia, Genevieve, Josee, Francois, Eric, Sheena-Kim, Shaun, Justin, and Noemie; her sisters-in-law Therese Theriault (Jean Louis), Suzanne Theriault, Nicole Theriault, and Denise Theriault (Alfred Morton); her best friends Jessie Roberts of Brantford and Pauline Cossette of Sept-Iles. A celebration of her life will be held at Fourth Avenue Baptist Church, (corner Bank and Fourth Ave) on Wednesday November 24th, 2004 at 13:00hrs. Condolences will be received at Church prior to the celebration. Her children wish to thank the staff of the Peter D. Clark for their loving care, especially nurse Natasha Kabic, who made Lena's passing away a peaceful and loving memory. Internment will be done in Sept-Iles, QC at a later date.
