Saturday, November 6, 2004 Arthur D. Patnaude BOXFORD -- Arthur D. Patnaude, 78, died Thursday at home following a battle with throat cancer. He worked in law enforcement and security for the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department and the California State Corrections Department and later was a security guard at the former Western Electric Co. in North Andover before retiring. Born and educated in Methuen, Mr. Patnaude served in the Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theatre and was a member of Groveland Congregational Church. He leaves wife of 31 years Carol (Widdop) Patnaude; sons Mark and his wife Karen of East Kingston, N.H., and Bruce Patnaude of Melbourne, Fla.; daughter June Blanchette of Keene, N.H.; stepsons Thomas and his wife Pauline Everson of Methuen and Dean Everson of Boxford; brother Eugene Patnaude of Deltona, Fla.; sisters Emma Chahanovich and Roberta Karamourtopoulas, both of Salem, N.H., and Shirleyann Byrne of Arizona; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours are tomorrow from 2 to 6 p.m. at Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A funeral Mass will be Monday at 9 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, the former Holy Rosary Church, Lawrence. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.
