Robert H. "Bob" Cadoret CADORET, Robert "Bob" H. Robert "Bob" H. Cadoret, died Sunday, (November 7, 2004) in St. Francis Hospital after a brief illness. He was 81 years old. He resided with his beloved wife of 58 years, Margaret (Fraser) Cadoret in Brookview Health Facility, West Hartford. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Thomas Goodrow of St. Simons Island, GA and Chatham, MA.; a grandson, David Goodrow of Kill Devil Hills, NC; a sister, Madeleine Cadoret of Windsor and a sister-in-law, Isabelle Benson of West Hartford; three nephews, Stephen Benson, John Cadoret and Joseph Musler; two nieces, Ann Crouse, Dr. Diane Cadoret; three great nieces and a great nephew. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the US Navy aboard the USS Marblehead. He worked 35 years for Finest Stores as a meat cutter. He was a member of the United & Comm. Workers Intl. Union, having served as a shop steward. He was a member of South Congregational Church of Hartford. A memorial service will be held Monday, November 15, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of South Congregational Church, 277 Main St., Hartford. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to South Congregational Scholarship fund. Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, West Hartford has care of arrangements.
