Langevin NATICK -- Edmund A. Langevin, 79, of Natick, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at MetroWest Medical Center in Natick. He was the husband of Stacia M. (Suprena) Langevin. They were married for 56 years. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Edmund J. and Lena G. (Bresse) Langevin and was a lifelong resident of Natick. He was educated in the Natick school system and was a graduate of Natick High School, Class of 1944. He was an electrician for the General Motors Corp.'s Framingham plant for 15 years, retiring in 1989. An avid golfer, Mr. Langevin was a member of the St. Linus Golf League and Point Sienna Golf Club in Kissimmee, Fla. He was a member of the Natick AMVETS, the Moose Lodge of Kissimmee and the USS Bunker Hill Association. A veteran of World War II, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 16 and served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Leonard E. Langevin of LaQuinta, Calif.; a daughter, Linda A. Wright of Natick; five grandchildren, Christine Langevin, Timothy Langevin, Stacia Wright, Paul Langevin and Danielle Langevin; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Wright and Zachary Ryan Langevin; and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late James M. Langevin and the brother of the late Ernest Langevin and Irene Bilodeau. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 13, at 9 a.m., at St. Linus Church. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, March 12, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
