Dufresne, Germaine (Dionne) DUFRESNE, GERMAINE (DIONNE), 90, of Johnston, formerly of Barefoot Bay, FL died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Scalabrini Villa, North Kingstown. She was the wife of the late Richard F. Dufresne. Born in Providence; she was a daughter of the late Tancrede and Mary Jane (Grenier) Dionne. Mrs. Dufresne was a Registered Nurse for thirty years before retiring in 1981. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. Mrs. Dufresne was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Providence and St. Joseph's Church, Micco, FL. She is survived by her children; Paulette A. McLaren of North Kingstown, Jacquelyn H. Dandeneau of North Providence, Frances M. Hosey of Cranston, Richard A. Dufresne of Johnston, Dr. Robert L. Dufresne of West Greenwich. Mrs. Dufresne was the grandmother of nine and the great-grandmother of ten. She was the sister of Sister Mary Janice, OP of Newburg, NY, Gabrielle DiCicco of Worcester, MA, Marcel Dionne of South Kingston and the late Sister Marie Jeanne, O.P., Alice Tremblay, Herve, Clinton, Raymond, Henri, Arthur Dionne. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Mark, 15 Garden Ct., Cranston.
