Antoinette Poudrette June 30, 1912 - August 28, 2007 DANIELSON- Antoinette Poudrette, 95, of Maple Court died on Tuesday at Westview Health Care Center in the Attawaugan section of Killingly. She was the wife of the late Simeon Poudrette, who died on Aug. 22, 2007. They were married on June 22, 1940 at St. James Church in Danielson. Mrs. Poudrette was born in Canada on June 30, 1912, the daughter of the late Ovila and Marie Louise (Poirier) Paquette. She attended school in Canada. In 1923, she moved with her family from Canada to the U.S. and settled in the Danielson area. She worked in textiles as a Seamstress at the former Powdrell and Alexander in Danielson, Acme Cotton, Shipman Mill and Danielson Curtain. Mrs. Poudrette enjoyed playing cards. She was a communicant of St. James Church in Danielson. She leaves a son, Bernard Poudrette and his wife, Claire of Hackettstown, NJ; a brother, Oliva Paquette of Ashford; a sister, Faye Brumfield of Danielson; three grandchildren, Jacqueline, Jennifer and Christine; five greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five sisters, Yvonne Barrette, Rose Perreault, Blandine Gilbeault, Flore Langlois and Ophie Thibeault. Funeral from the GagnonCostello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds St., Danielson on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church, Danielson. Cremation to follow. Private burial at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson.
