    3. THE REPUBLICAN Springfield, MA 23 May 2007 Gloria B. (Thibeault) LaFleur 1928 - 2007 SPRINGFIELD, MASS. - Gloria B. (Thibeault) LaFleur, 79, died on May 19, 2007 in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Stamford, CT, she was a lifelong Springfield resident. Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Francis LaFleur. She leaves 3 sons, Glenn and his wife Lisa, Jeffrey and his companion Donna Sanzi and Wayne and his wife Teri, 4 daughters Diana McDonnell and her husband Patrick, Barbara Hunt and her husband Nikolaus, Sally LaFleur and her companion Kevin Chiasson, and Patricia Weaver and her husband Alfred, a brother Richard Thibeault, 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 3 nieces, and her best friend Mona Calkins. Funeral Friday at 9 am from the WILBRAHAM FUNERAL HOME, 2551 BOSTON ROAD, followed by a Mass in St. Cecilia's Church at 10 am. Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4:00-7:00 pm. Published in The Republican on 5/23/2007. =============================== THE REPUBLICAN Springfield, MA 23 May 2007 Carole-Anne-Celine Langlois MERRIMACK, NH - Carole Anne Celine Langlois of Merrimack, NH, died May 20, 2007 at age 53 surrounded by family and dear friends after a valiant battle with Uterine Cancer. Beloved daughter of Gaston and Bessie Langlois. She is survived by her five sons David, Curt, Tom, Luke (and Hayley) and Michael (and Patty). She also leaves three sisters, Louise (and Scott) Motyka, Sandra (and Wayne) Organowski and Patti Langlois and three brothers, Michael Langlois (and Laurie Boulanger), Peter (and Terrie) Langlois and Andrew (and Susan) Langlois as well as several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the American Legion Hall in Hatfield, MA Saturday, May 26, 2007 @ 10:00 A.M. Santaniello WEST SPRINGFIELD, MASS. - Marlene J. (Matte) Santaniello, 71 of 132 Wolcott Avenue, died May 21, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. She fought a courageous fight and died with dignity and grace at home surrounded by her family. Marlene was born on July 5, 1935 in West Springfield to Reginald and Nora (Polverari) Matte. She moved to Springfield in 1941 with her family, graduated from Commerce High School in 1952, and returned to West Springfield in 1954. Marlene was employed by the New England Telephone Company in Springfield, where she made several lifelong friends. She left the telephone company in 1956 to marry and raise a family. Marlene was a stay-at-home mother in the finest tradition of June Cleaver. She was a Cub Scout den mother, Girl Scout leader, WSHS Football Gridiron mother, and a bingo volunteer at St. Louis de France Church. She is survived by her husband, Carmino J. Santaniello, Sr., with whom she recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, her son and daughter-in-law, Carmino Jr. and Donna Santaniello of West Springfield, her daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Richard Velosky of Feeding Hills, and seven grandchildren, Stefanie, Carmino III, Samantha, Carlee, and Christopher Santaniello, and Ashley and Angela Velosky. She also leaves her two loving brothers, Louis R. Matte and Frederick J. Matte of West Springfield, and many nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by Shatsi, her beloved German Shephard. The family would like to thank the medical staff of Glynn & Murray MD, with special thanks to Dr. Philip Glynn, and the Noble Hospice staff. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 25, 2007 at 10:00 am at St Louis de France Church. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home in West Springfield.
