    3. THE REPUBLICAN Springfield, MA. 19 May 2007 Lorraine V. LaFleche 1934-2007 BRIMFIELD, MASS. - Lorraine V. (Dumais) LaFleche, 72, of Riverview Cr., died May 16, 2007 at Wing Memorial Hospital. Born December 27, 1934 in Ludlow, she was the daughter of the late Oza and Leah (Gauthier) Dumais. Lorraine has lived in Brimfield for the past 20 years and previously was a longtime resident of Indian Orchard. Mrs. LaFleche worked for many years as a cashier for Mont Calm Pharmacy in Indian Orchard. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Henry E. LaFleche and a son Wayne LaFleche and his wife Linda of Chicopee. She also leaves a sister Ida Mae Crockett of Ludlow and brother Maurice Dumais and his wife Helen of Ludlow, three grandchildren Wayne, Jr and his wife Tracy of E. Longmeadow, Jason and fiancé Lena Laterreur of Chicopee and Jeffrey of Chicopee and four great grandchildren Jeremy, Julie, Kyle and Kendrick. A brother-in-law Theodore LaFleche and his wife Margaret of Chicopee, sister-in-law Lorraine Jordan and husband Alfred of E. Springfield many nieces, nephews and cousins survive her. A Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Calling hours are Monday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. A committal service will be Fri. May 25th at 2:00 p.m. in the Mass. Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Donations may be made in her memory to American Heart Association, 1111 Elm St., W.Springfield, MA 01089. Roy 1953 2007 CHICOPEE, MASS. - Wayne R. Roy, 53, died suddenly at home on Thursday, May 17. He was born in Holyoke on July 7, 1953 the son of the late Joseph Roy, and Elizabeth (Bourque) Roy of Chicopee. A lifelong Chicopee resident, he was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School Class of 1973. He was the owner of Her Way Cleaning Service. Wayne was an avid Yankee fan, and had a love of hunting, fishing, hiking and being outdoors. He also enjoyed photography and his garden. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Marguerite "Peggy" Roy, one son, Brian and his fiancé Jaime Delaney of Chicopee, and one daughter, Shannon Weaver and her husband Scott of Springfield. He also leaves two brothers, Joseph of Westfield, and Keith of New Jersey, and one sister, Deborah Szalkiewicz of Chicopee and many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed and always remembered by the joys of his life, three grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua and Ivy. Calling hours are Sunday May 20 from 4 6pm at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
