KENNEBEC JOURNAL Augusta, ME 9 May 2007 AUGUSTA, MAINE -- Yvette G. Jean, 78, of Riverside Drive died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at her daughter's home, following a long illness, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Bingham on Feb. 13, 1929, a daughter of the late Ephrem J. and Alfredina G. (Letourneau) LaRochelle. Mrs. Jean had been employed for many years at Taylor Shoe Co. and, more recently, for Kirschner Foods. She was a communicant of St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Yvette's greatest love was her family. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her enjoyments were her flower gardens and playing beano. Mrs. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Raymond G. Jean; four brothers, Lionel, Wilfred, Clarence and Paul LaRochelle; and a sister, Adella Boggs. She is survived by two sons, Gerard R. Jean and his wife, Kandie, of Randolph and Gary R. Jean and his wife, Rosalyn, of Augusta; three daughters, Gloria Y. Larrabee and her husband, Tom, of Hallowell, Jacqueline A. Blaisdell and her husband, Ronald, of Augusta and Jeannine M. Bouchard and her husband, Robert, of Farmingdale; three brothers, Roland LaRochelle of Waterville, Patrick LaRochelle of Winthrop and August LaRochelle of Augusta; a sister, Evelyn Paradis of Augusta; 10 grandchildren, David Larrabee and his wife, Kimberly, Tricia Gilcott and her husband, Jamie, Brad Blaisdell, Angela Blaisdell, April Lynn Bouchard, Raymond Jean, Ryan Jean, Cody Jean, Jesse Jean and Amanda Jean; four great-grandchildren, Devin Gilcott, Kelsi Gilcott, Keleb Bouchard and Tyrell Lewis, and a grandson expected in June; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, St. Andrew's Street, Augusta.
