THE REPUBLICAN Springfield, MA 16 August 2007 Florence R. (Fournier) Fedora 1924-2007 WESTFIELD, MASS. - Florence R. (Fournier) Fedora, 82, of Westfield, died peacefully at home Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Florence was always her family's biggest supporter whether it was a school functions or life in general. Florence was born in Holyoke on August 16, 1924 and moved early in life to Westfield. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Louise (Dubois) Fournier. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1939. She was a devout communicant of St. Peter and St. Casimir church, was a member of the Rosary Society, and for years enjoyed playing bingo at St. Peter's Parish Center. She was also a longtime Marion retreatant. Florence was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, John E. "Red" Fedora in 2005. She is survived by six children, Carol J. Waite of Cape Coral, FL, Gail E. Fedora-Hines of Bonita Springs, FL, Marcia L. Fedora of Boca Raton, FL, Donald J. Fedora of Bonita Shores, FL, Susan M. Fedora of Tempe, AZ, Kevin J. Fedora of Westfield. Also a sister, Claire Thibodeau of Holyoke, one brother, Edward Fournier of Westfield, and a sister Eileen Gosselin of Willimansett. She also leaves eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by her siblings, Marie Bilodeau, Robert Fournier and Sr. Theresa Fournier. Florence was a devoted wife, mother and sister. A humble person, intelligent beyond her years. She was our strength. Funeral services will be Saturday morning, August 18th at 9:00 a.m. from the Robert E. Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main St., Rte-20, and Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter and St. Casimir Church, 22 State St., both in Westfield. Rites of Committal to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Southampton Rd., Westfield. Visiting hours will be Friday evening August 17th from 4-8. Letendre, 90, a retired carpenter and Facilities Superin-tendent died Wednesday, August 15, 2007 in Agawam. Born in Springfield to the late Urgede and Clara (Salva) Letendre, he served his country as a carpenter in the 49th Seabee Battalion of the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from Suffield Academy after serving as Superintendent of Building and Grounds for 17 years. In retirement he was active as a volunteer at St. John the Evangelist Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Grace E. (Lapine). He is survived by his sister Gabrielle Grabowski. He is also survived by his two sons, John R.; and Leo J. and his wife Diane M.; two granddaughters, Claire and Denise; numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and .grand-nephews. A funeral service for Raymond will be held on Saturday, August 18th beginning at 9:00 AM from Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, Agawam. Burial will follow in the Agawam Center Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, August 17th from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
