    3. THE REPUBLICAN Springfield, MA. 28 August 2007 Colonel Arthur-Charles Brodeur, Jr. 1916-2007 SATELLITE BEACH, FL - Colonel Arthur Charles, Jr. died August 15, 2007. Husband of the late Alexina Richardson Milne Brodeur. Father of Arthur Brodeur III and Margaret Brodeur. Grandfather of Arthur Brodeur IV, Heather Latka , Jennifer Doyle, and Rudy Woloss. Great grandfather of Jason Brodeur, Devin Brodeur, and Nicholas Doyle. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday August 31 in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday August 30 in the funeral home. Following the interment, family and friends are welcome to gather at the Sand Bar in West Dennis, MA from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Arthur Brodeur's memory to Father Flanagan's Boys and Girls Town, P.O. On-line address: helpkids@boysandgirlstown.org Published in The Republican on 8/28/2007. =============================== THE REPUBLICAN Springfield, MA. 28 August 2007 Robertine Fountain 1925 - 2007 WILBRAHAM, MASS. - Robertine "Bobbie" (Tucker) Fountain, 82, of 15 Wright Place, passed away Friday, August 24th at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Worcester, MA to the late Daniel and Henrietta (Waldron) Tucker, she grew up in Charlton on the farm that had been in the Tucker family since the 1700's. She graduated from Charlton High School, and received her R.N. from the Nursing School of Memorial Hospital in Worcester. She practiced nursing for 40 years at both the former Wesson Hospital and Baystate Medical Center. She was a member of the Baystate Alumni. She was married in 1948 to Gordon Fountain and they were 27-year residents of Springfield before moving to Wilbraham 31 years ago. She was an active member of the former Hope Congregational Church in Springfield and Wilbraham United Church. She served on many boards and committees and was a faithful member of the "Called to Care" ministry as well as the Prayer-Study Group. In addition to her many charitable works, she loved to vacation at the family cottage in Chocolate Cove, Deer Island in New Brunswick, Canada. Bobbie was predeceased by Gordon in December of 1996 and by her brother, George Tucker in May of this year. She is survived by her daughter, Reverend Robyn T. Burns and her husband Thomas of Wilbraham; her son, Ronald S. Fountain and his partner, Marilyn Judkins of Abbott, ME; her four grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, and Tamara Leisey and Aubrey Algar; and by her two great-granddaughters, Katarina Leisey and Chelsea Leisey. Her family will sadly miss her love and support. Family and friends are invited to gather for a service of love and memory on Friday, August 31st at 11:00 AM at the Wilbraham United Church, 500 Main St. in Wilbraham. Burial will take place at 3:15 PM at the Northside Cemetery in Charlton. Calling hours will be Thursday, August 30th from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM at the Byron Funeral Home, 1858 Allen St., Springfield. Garrow 1912-2007 INDIAN ORCHARD, MASS. - Lillian Edna ( LaRose) Garrow, 95, passed away Saturday August 25th at Wingate of South Hadley. Born in Indian Orchard to the late Amos and Delia (Tellier) LaRose, she was a lifelong Indian Orchard resident. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard Garrow, in 1994. She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Guilbert of Springfield and Diane Rivest of South Hadley; Sisters-in-law, Imeldia LaRose and Vivian LaRose; her four grandchildren, Nancy and Anthony Guilbert of Springfield, Tracy Doherty of Chicopee and Scott Rivers of Belchertown; four great-grandchildren, Aaron, Olivia, Caroline and Julia and a very kind friend and neighbor, Dora Picard. Family and friends are invited to meet for a calling hour on Wednesday August 29th from 8:30-9:30am in the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Jude's Church. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
