THE REPUBLICAN Springfield, MA 1 August 2007 Romulas V. Goyette 1922-2007 WEST SPRINGFIELD, MASS. - Romulas "Louis" V. Goyette, 84, died July 31, 2007 at Mercy Hospital after a long illness. He was born in West Warren and grew up in Aldenville before moving to West Springfield over 30 years ago. He worked for the Sears Company for over 30 years retiring in 1996. He was a U.S. Army veteran during WWII receiving the Bronze Star. He was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church. He leaves his loving wife of 59 years Lorraine (Michaud) Goyette and a daughter Maureen R. Goyette of Ava, Missouri , a grandson Douglas Crosby of Austin, TX and a great granddaughter Chloe Crosby of Austin, TX. The funeral will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. No calling hours and the West Springfield Curran Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
