THE REPUBLICAN Springfield, MA. 11 August 2007 Jeannette (Peloquin) Bowler 1924 - 2007 HOLYOKE, MASS. - Jeannette (Peloquin) Bowler, age 83, of Holyoke, died Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Holyoke Medical Center. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Alexander and Rose (Giroux) Peloquin, and was a longtime Inspector at American Advertising Corporation of Holyoke, retiring in 1985. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Bowler, a son, Kevin T. Bowler and a granddaughter, Lynn Bowler. She is survived by three sons, Thomas J. Bowler, Jr., and Gary M. Bowler of Chicopee, Brian P. Bowler of Holyoke; five daughters, Carol LaFleur, Noreen Rouillard, and Kathleen Pierog, all of Chicopee, Debra Bowler of Holyoke, and Pamela Van Tassel of Granby; 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lucille Lamy, and Gloria Frasco of Chicopee and Lorraine Perreault of Holyoke. (Monks) Paquette, 93, of the Williman-sett section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Thursday, August 9, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicopee on February 7, 1914, a beloved daughter of the late John and Marie Louise (Lescarbeau) Monks. She lived in Willimansett since 1935 and was a communicant of Saint Mary of the Assumption Church in Willimansett. Her beloved husband, Homer Paquette was Called Home on September 20, 1994. They were married at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Willimansett on September 7, 1934 and were blessed with 60 years of happiness together. She leaves her loving children, Shirley L. Lapierre and her husband Roger of Fairview, Ronald F. Paquette of Myrtle Beach, SC, Robert J. Paquette of Willimansett and Gerald A. Paquette and his companion Lynn Moreau of Chicopee. She also leaves her seven cherished grandchildren and her four cherished great grandchildren. Her dear brother, John Monks, Jr. of Springfield and several dear nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her dear brother and sister, James Monks who was Called Home in April of 1997 and Olive J. Monks who was Called Home on March 4, 2007. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday morning, August 14, 2007 at 8 a.m. from the St. Pierre Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, 506 Britton Street in Chicopee followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Saint Mary of the Assumption Church, 840 Chicopee Street in Willimansett. Her burial will follow the Mass at Notre Dame Cemetery, 63 Lyman Street in South Hadley. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home in the Fairview Chapel on Monday, August 13, 2007 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The parking lot is located in the rear of the funeral home. Phifer 1988 - 2007 HEATH, MA - Tiffany Noel Phifer, 18, former longtime resident of Warren, died Sunday, August 5 in Greenfield. Born in Holyoke December 19, 1988, she was the daughter of Jeanne (Menard) Phifer of Ware and the late Gregory Phifer. She had most recently been living in the town of Heath. In addition to her mother, she will be deeply missed by her sister Melanie Phifer of Ware, her foster mother Joyce of Heath, her grandparents Cindy Frangimore, and Richard Menard and his wife Dorothy. A Service of Remembrance will be Monday, August 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte. 20).
