THE REPUBLICAN Springfield, MA 6 August 2007 Vivian L. (Laberge) Chasse 1938 - 2007 WESTFIELD, MASS. - Vivian L. (Laberge) Chasse, 69, of this city died Friday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fall River, Ma on April 23,1938 daughter of the late Ernest L. and Doris R. (L'Homme) Laberge, and attended Fall River schools, moving to Springfield in 1955. She was employed at the former Springfield Hospital (now Baystate Medical Center) for eight years. She and her husband operated a day care in Springfield for many years until her retirement. Vivian will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of forty-five years, Camille M. Chasse, two daughters, Michele M. Chasse of Woodbridge, VA, and Rachael J. Godaire and her husband Mark L. of Westfield, a sister Lucille Laberge of Springfield, a brother Roger E. Laberge of Quincy, and her brother-in-law James E. Dunleavy of Rochester, N.Y. She also leaves two grandchildren, Scott A. and Jennifer N. Godaire of Westfield, her nephew Kevin Dunleavy of Merion Station, PA, two nieces Pamela A. Doran of Freeville, NY, and Kimberly Ingram of Amherst, NY., and two great nieces Helena Ingram and Alida Dunleavy and a great nephew Ryan Doran. She was predeceased by her son David M. Chasse in 1968, and her sister Helen L. Dunleavy in 1982. Her funeral will be Wednesday from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St., Westfield at 930AM followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow at St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Chicopee. Calling hours at the funeral home will be on Tuesday from 4PM until 7pm. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
