    3. THERIAULT, Jeannette THÉRIAULT, Jeannette (née Leonard) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Thursday, January 4th, 2007 at the age of 81 years. Born in Blind River, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and of the late Evangeline (née Dupond) Leonard. Wife of the late Maurice Roy, predeceased in 1964 and of the late Charles Thériault predeceased in 1994. Loving mother of Robert Roy (Linda) of Edmonton, AB, Linda Chartrand (Raymond), Viviane Roy (Richard Mallete) all of Azilda, Madeleine Roy (Doug Marentette) of Kitimat B.C., Marc Thériault and Paul Thériault both of Chelmsford and Jacques Thériault of Sudbury. Dear sister of Marcel, Jean-Paul both of Elliot-Lake and Yvette St-Jacques of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brothers, Laurent, Gerald and Henri. Cherished grand-mother of Maurice, Michèle, Richard, Angèle, Donald, Francine, Renée, Chantale, Michel and Ashley. Known to her friends as "Jean", she was a devout Roman Catholic. Jeannette was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 553 and a member of "Club accueil Age d'Or "of Azilda. Jeannette enjoyed many hobbies in particular sewing, painting, ceramics, crochet and knitting. She also spent many years camping at Vermillion River Campsite and though she was wheelchair bound for the last 5 or 6 years she managed to get around. She will be sadly missed by her many friends at the Long Term Care Unit at the Sudbury Regional Hospital (Laurentian Site). The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R R 15, CHELMSFORD, Monday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda. A memorial service under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion will be held Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
