DAOUST, Paul Gilbert DAOUST, Paul Gilbert - In loving memory of Paul Gilbert Daoust, 82 years. The family announces with sorrow his death Thursday, January 4th, 2007, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Centre. Son of the late Firmin Daoust and Léonie (Lefebvre) Daoust. He loved playing his violin. He has been playing his violin since the tender age of 4. He also had a country band that he lead for many years which was called "Paul and the Ramblers" which consisted of his son John, his brothers as well as his dear friend lead guitarist Ron Poulin. He was also an avid card player as well as a good friend to anybody and everybody. Beloved husband of Estelle (Bradley) Daoust of Sudbury. Loving father of John (Lorraine) of Barrie, Diane (Gerry) Lefebvre, Norm (Nancy), Lise (Gilles) Bédard all of Sudbury, David (Louise) of Garson, Daniel (Stephanie) of Copper Cliff and Guy at home in Sudbury. Predeceased by his grandson Noah and by his sisters Jeanne and husband Lloyd Patterson, Léonida and husband Hector Lauzon and Thérèse Daoust. Dear brother of Stéphane (Jacqueline) of Sturgeon Falls, Phillipe (Joyce) of Levack, Ernest (Lucille), Michel (Jeannine) all of Sudbury, Laura Zubriski (husband Mike predeceased) of Winnipeg, Madeleine Teahen (husband Francis "Red" predeceased) of London and Pauline Vincent (husband Fernand "Pit" predeceased) of Chelmsford. Cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and so many friends that have been touched through so many years. The family sincerely thanks all health service workers for their loving care and compassion. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, 3594 Errington Ave, Chelmsford, Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chelmsford. Donations can be made in honour of his grandson Noah to the Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer. (Friends may call 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Monday). No Visitation on Tuesday.
