He leaves his parents, Judy Permenter of Oxford and Fred Fortier of Ripley; and a sister, Holly Fortier Coombs; a brother, Freddie B. Fortier, and his grandparents, Miriam Permenter and Robert W. and Onie Fortier, all of Ripley. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Noah's Ark Day Care at First United Methodist Church.
