Madeleine Cadieux > Noel + Marthe Golle Spectrum 2003-9-12 Olin Fortier, 75, had family in New Milford Olin F. Fortier, 75, of Haines City, Fla., died Sept. 1. He was the husband of Dorothy Fortier. Mr. Fortier was born Nov. 24, 1927, in Waterbury, son of Mary Fortier of New Milford. He was a longtime resident of Waterbury, moving to Florida 13 years ago. He was an Army Air Force and Air Force veteran, serving during World War II and Korea, retiring after 22 years. He worked at Sikorsky Aircraft as a helicopter technician. Besides his wife, Mr. Fortier is survived by four sons, Scott of Haines City, Robert and Alan of Winter Haven, Fla., and Bryan of Polk City, Fla.; three daughters, Deborah of Clinton, Carol Lunan of Francestown, N.H., and Susan Sparano of Watertown; a brother, Jack of Greenville, Miss.; two sisters, Mary Araya and Helen Connor of New Milford; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. he Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home of Auburndale, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
