(FORTIER) LAMOTHE, 83, of New Boston Road, formerly of Milliken Boulevard, a homemaker, died Friday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lucien Lamothe. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Ovila Fortier and Marie Olympe (Charron) Fortier, she was a lifelong resident of Fall River. She was a former member of St. Mary's Cathedral. She leaves two daughters, Anne Marie Bouchard of Somerset and Denise Deston of Fall River; a brother, Marcel Fortier in Florida; two sisters, Imelda Bechara in Florida and Anna Kerte of Attleboro; four granddaughters and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Henry Fortier, Donat Fortier, Ovila Fortier, Lydia Petit, Rose Gauvin, Hazel Charest and Lena Fortier. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from Boule Funeral Home, 615 Broadway, with a Mass at 10 in St. Patrick's Church, South Street, Somerset. Burial will be in Notre Damwe Cemetery, Fall River.
