On Friday, March 9, 2001, Mr. Frank Archer of Gibbons, Alberta, passed away at home at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Elaine (Langevin); his children, Alice (Tim Poudrier), Ray (Donna), Maureen (Claire), Tammy (Darrell Repchuk). Frank is also survived by his very dear grandchildren, Shaina, Braden, Amy, Lisa, Karly, Darian and Drewe. He is also survived by his sister, May Faraday; and his brother, Jim (Bev); and many nieces and nephews; as well as many wonderful friends. Frank was predeceased by his father, Franklin; his mother, Leila; his brother, Ralph; and sister, Lee Schepens. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Sturgeon Memorial Funeral Chapel, 5016-47 Avenue, Bon Accord with cremation to follow. Viewing for family and friends will take place prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetic Association. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. F. Brenneis and all the many Doctors, nurses and support staff who contributed to dad's care.
