He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Fred Bergevin; and son-in-law, Douglas Pimlott. He is survived by his three daughters, Kathleen (Bill) Bodford of Memphis, Tenn., Karen (Dr. William) Hurley of Olympia, Wash., and Mary (Demare) Gil of Roanoke, Va.; grandchildren, Brianna (Brad) Eldred, Katie and Ian Bodford, Erin, Amber and Alex Hurley, Ryan and Ashley Pimlott and Mariah Gil; great-granddaughter, Harper Eldred; former wife and close friend, Leona Bergevin; brother, Louis (Beth) Bergevin. Ed served in World War II aboard the USS North Carolina. He worked for Southern Colorado Power Co. from 1951 to retirement, where he was known for his creative mechanical inventions, which greatly aided in job efficiency. Ed had a life-long love of the water, and enjoyed boating and fishing. Memorial service, 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2005, at the Pueblo Regent Retirement Residence, 100 San Carlos Road.
