Breyette, Lily A. WESTPORT Lily A. Breyette, 86, formerly of Turner Court, Plattsburgh, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at the home of her daughter, Barbara Breyette, of Westport. She was born in Plattsburgh on Dec. 10, 1919, the daughter of Frederick J. and Ettie (Bond) Adams. Lily married Gordon J. Breyette in West Springfield, Mass., in 1942. Gordon died in 1997. She had various employment experiences over her lifetime, but her priority in life was that of wife, mother and homemaker. Lily was the secretary for Local Labor Union #186 from 1965 to 1978. She belonged to various women's veterans organizations and the Ladies of the Elks. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Breyette of Westport; one sister, Mae Rabideau of Plattsburgh; two grandsons, Maj. Mark L. Tromblee of the U.S. Army and his wife, Melissa, and Michael A. Tromblee and his wife, Melissa, of City Island, Bronx; three great-grandchildren, Krista, Nick and Katie Tromblee; and several nieces and nephews. Lily was predeceased by three sisters and a brother. Calling hours will be held today, Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh. Published in the Press Republican on 12/11/2006. ------------------------------------------- DANNEMORA Mary Frances LaHart, 87, of Smith Street, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Dannemora on Jan. 10, 1919, the daughter of the late Ernest C. and Gertrude Rose (Keenan) Bressette. Mary was a graduate of Dannemora High School in 1942 and a graduate of Champlain Valley School of Nursing in 1946. She had been employed by Champlain Valley Hospital and by Clinton Correctional Facility, retiring after 12 years of service. Mary was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora. Mary is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Catherine LaHart Jr. of Plattsburgh and Robert and Kathleen LaHart of Saranac; five grandchildren, Jonathan LaHart, Amy LaHart, Abby LaHart, Anna LaHart and James LaHart. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Roy LaHart Sr. on April 27, 1991, who she married in 1943; her sisters-in-law, Minnie Lewis and Flora Borrette; and her brother-in-law, Wilford LaHart. Later in life, Mary was well cared for by her home health aids, Sandy Frederick, Jill Heath and JoAnn Manley. Calling hours will be today, Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora. Burial will follow in Whispering Maples Mausoleum in Plattsburgh. She was born March 22, 1941, the daughter of Edgar and Bertha (Smith) LaFountain. Mexicalli worked for 10 years as an Essex County home health aide. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. She liked picnics, being with her granddaughter and family. Mexicalli is survived by a companion of 32 years, Burton Brookins Jr.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Georgia King of AuSable Forks and Heather and Daniel Coolidge of Jay; one sister and brother-in-law, Phoebe and Kenneth Bougor of AuSable Forks; one brother and sister-in-law, Courtney and Gloria LaFountain of Port Leyden; one sister-in-law, Theresa LaFountain; one loving granddaughter, Arielle Rose Coolidge; four step-grandchildren, Daniel, Zachary, Makayla and Alyssa; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; one grandson, James Leo King; three brothers and three sisters, Barney, Doug and George LaFountain, Vivian Reyell, Geneva LaRue and Betty Ranchor.
