Gilman, 65 CORNISH - Louise A. Gilman, 65, of High Road, passed away Feb. 23, 2005 at Maine Medical Center, Portland. She was born in Rumford a daughter of Sylvio J. and Cecile Roy Langevin. Mrs. Gilman was educated at St. Theresa Parochial School and graduated salutatorian from Mexico High. Louise worked several jobs retiring from Sylvania of Standish. Most recently she worked at Porter Country Store and Masons Store of Cornish. She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church of Limerick. She enjoyed collecting dolls, flower gardening and was very talented in sewing, crewel work, knitting and oil painting. Most of all her interest was the love of cats, at one time having more than 20 of them at one time. She is survived by two sisters, Claire Jordan of Cumberland and Barbara Umbro of Standish; two brothers, Sylvio Langevin of Limington and Raymond Langevin of the Philippines; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Feb. 28, at Neal & York Funeral Home, 12 High St., Porter.
