Helmig, who died Sept. 22 at age 91. Lea E. Bergevin was born Sept. 4, 1915, in Yakima, and moved to Silver Lake, Wash., in 1926. In 1939, she moved to Molalla, where she and her husband were cattle farmers and most recently Christmas tree farmers. She married F. William "Bill" in 1944. Survivors include her husband; daughter, Donna Parker; son, Lester; sister, Alice Coleman; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her son Danny Parker died in 1943, and her son Bill Parker in 1981.
