Born in Ashburnham on Jan. 21, 1923, she was the daughter of Gilbert and Delia (Duquett) Bergevin. She lived in Fitchburg, MA most of her life. She was a homemaker who had very strong family ties and loved family outings and gatherings. She leaves three sons, Richard J. Valcourt of Worcester, William A. Valcourt and his wife, Rebecca, of Gardner, and James E. Valcourt and his wife, Cynthia, of Fitchburg; four daughters, Helen Valcourt of Worcester, Joanne Walker and her husband, Russell of Winchendon; Margaret R. Bennett and her husband, Bradley of Ashburnham, and Christine Szczygeil of Southbridge; 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one niece, one nephew, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews. A daughter Sandy Valcourt, and a sister, Rose Gauvin, predeceased her. VALCOURT - On Dec. 9, Mary Jane (Bergevin) Valcourt, 81, of Fitchburg. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. in Bosk Funeral Home, 85 Blossom St., Pastor Howard Shadd will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday, Dec. 12, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Lighthouse Church of God, 107 Whalom Road, Lunenburg, MA 01462
