The Recorder, Friday, October 05, 2007 COLRAIN -- Cecile A. (Corbiere) Coutu, 76, died Wednesday October 3, 2007 at home. Cecile was born in Montague, MA on August 27, 1931, the daughter of Arthur and Delia (Dion) Corbiere. She was a graduate of the former Arms Academy in Shelburne Falls. Cecile was a homemaker. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, needlework, reading and playing the piano. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Parish in Shelburne Falls. Survivors include a son, Christopher J. and his wife, Ruth, of Ashfield, three daughters, Becky A. Richotte and her husband, Dennis, of Greenfield, Vicky E. Rockstroh and her husband, Richard, of Colrain, Cathy M. Purington and her husband, Donald, also of Colrain, a brother, Edward Corbiere of Turners Falls, nine grandchildren, Darcy Caffelle, Daniel and Cara Richotte, Michael and Sarah Rockstroh, Stephanie and Beth Coutu, Rachel and Alex Purington, and a great-granddaughter, Jasmine Richotte. Cecile was predeceased by her husband, John E. Coutu in 1991. Services Tuesday, October 9 at the Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, Shelburne Falls, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church. Burial services will follow in West Branch Cemetery, Colrain.
