David Loren Bergevin Sr. David Loren Bergevin, Sr., age 69, passed away October 4, 2007, at his home in Cincinnati, OH, following an extended illness. Mr. Bergevin was born in Waukegan, IL, August 24, 1938. Attended grade school and high school in Zion, IL. Graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.A. degree in Bible and English and a Master's degree in Bible in 1962. Married Alice Skinner on August 4, 1960. He is survived by his wife, Alice, Cincinnati; daughters, Lorraine Bergevin, Cincinnati, and Elizabeth (Craig) Haigh, Hanover Park, IL; and son, David (Cynthia) Bergevin, Jr., Cincinnati. Also survived by six grandchildren; a sister, Marlene (Tennis) Morris (Rockford, IL); brothers, Karl Smith (North Chicago, IL), Alven Smith, Michael Smith (Kenosha, WI), and Ed Smith (Phoenix, AZ); brother-in-law, Frank Marcinkus (Wadsworth, IL); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. The funeral service will be held Monday, October 8, 2007 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 8645 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236.
