Jessie, Elizabeth Anne View/Sign Guest Book TUPPER LAKE -- Elizabeth Anne (Demars) Jessie, 75, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake on Oct. 5, 2007. She was born in Tupper Lake on Feb. 20, 1932, to Malvina (LaBarge) Demars and Benjamin Demars and lived her entire life in that community. She graduated from Tupper Lake High School in 1948 and went on to acquire a business degree from the Ogdensburg Business School. She began her career at the Tupper Lake National Bank in 1951 as a bookkeeper and became the first female executive officer, retiring as vice president and cashier in 1994. On Dec. 1, 1951, she married Robert Jessie at Holy Name Church. He predeceased her in 2001. Mrs. Jessie is survived by two daughters, Angela and her husband, Loren Miller, of Edwards, N.Y., Vicki and her husband, Robert Meconi, of AuSable Forks, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Ross Putman of Dekalb Junction, Renee Miller of SUNY Cortland, William Meconi of Boston, Mass., and Susan Meconi of Greensboro, N.C. She is also survived by her brother, Benjamin Demars of Tupper Lake. There will be no calling hours. PLATTSBURGH -- Mrs. Doris L. McKee, 81, of Russell Barnard Apartments passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on July 3, 1926 the daughter of Francis and Irene (Scott) Provost. Doris enjoyed playing cards, bingo and outings with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Doris was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1466 in Beekmantown. She ws predeceased by her parents, Francis and Irene Provost; her husband, Vernon McKee Sr.; her brothers, Harold, Raymond Sr., Edmund Sr., Kenneth and Eugene Provost; her sisters, Dorothy Bouvia, Erma Doucette and Shirley Brown; two grandchildren, Jeffrey McKee and Kelly McKee; and a great-grandchild, Jade McKee. She was born in Plattsburgh on Nov. 3, 1951 the daughter of Everest and Lillian (Venne) Rabideau. Patricia had worked for LaClair Corporation before becoming a full-time wife and mother. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, working at her computer and bookkeeping for her brother, Brian, at Cumberland Bay Market. She was born in Chazy, N.Y., on Nov. 21, 1925, the daughter of Ermey and Mary (Baker) Gonyo. Ruth had been a bookkeeper for many businesses in the Chazy area and retired from her brother, Richard Gonyo's, business. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. Ruth was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Chazy. She was predeceased by her parents, Ermey and Mary Gonyo; her first husband, Robert Cudworth in May 1956; and her second husband, Ralph T. Parrotte Sr. in March 1999; four brothers, Alvin, Arthur, Leon and Richard Gonyo; and her sisters, Jean Mooney and Rita Sterling. Ruth is survived by her children, Diana M.
