BERGEVINE, 80, of North Washington Street, formerly a resident of 716 South Main St., a jewelry maker and homemaker, died Friday at Madonna Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Raymond R. Bergevine. Born in Lawrence, Mass., on Oct. 11, 1923, a daughter of the late Donat and Eliza (Boute) Pelletier, she was educated in Attleboro schools. She had lived in Madonna Nursing Home for 4 years, previously residing for 30 years on South Main Street, Attleboro. She had been a jewelry worker for over 25 years at the John E. Lepper Co., Attleboro, retiring 18 years ago. Earlier, she had been employed at Bergevine Bros., Attleboro. She was a homemaker and an active communicant of St. Stephen's Church, Attleboro. She was a recipient of the Marian Medal, awarded by the Diocese of Fall River. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, and baking. She leaves a son, Stephen R. Bergevine of Attleboro; two sisters, Irene A. Gingras of North Attleboro and Lucille J. Burke of Walpole, Mass.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Florence Tremblay, Adrian Pelletier and Peter Pelletier. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, 683 South Main St., Attleboro. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Attleboro.
