PETER A. DRINKWINE, 68, formerly of Willsboro, N.Y., and most recently Plattsburgh, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Willsboro, N.Y., on Nov. 21, 1938, the son of Charles and Kathleen (West) Drinkwine. There will be no calling hours. Following cremation, burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Willsboro. Arrangements are by the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. Gamache Jr., 69, of Romeo, Mich., died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at his home. He was born July 19, 1937, in Champlain, N.Y., a son of Norman and Ann (Chenevert) Gamache. Mr. Gamache served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a machinist with Mold-a-Matic and for Chrysler. He was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church in Romeo, Knights of Columbus Council 7016 of Romeo and St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Sterling Heights where he was involved with the Legion of Mary, Men of the Sacred Heart and its Men's Club. He was involved in the MCREST program in Romeo for the homeless. He is survived by three daughters, Tracy (Neil) LaCount of New York, Marcy Simmons of Lake Orion and Michelle Gamache (Bob Rizzo) of Lake Orion; three sons, Steven (Lyne) Gamache of Washington Township, Todd (Amie) Gamache of Lake Orion and Jason (Aimee) Gamache of Romeo; two brothers, Ron (Christine) Gamache of Yale and Jimmy Gamache of New York; a sister, Joan Hughes of New York; the children's mother, Madelyn Gamache; and 15 grandchildren. Services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Sterling Heights. The Rev. Father Franic Budoovic officiated. Burial followed at Romeo Cemetery. Pall bearers were Dan Murphy, Wendell Hughes Jr., Neil LaCount, Bob Rizzo, Collin Simmons and Bradley Gamache. Arrangements were by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo, Mich.
