Thomas F. Fortier, Sr. 1942 - 2005 FEEDING HILLS - Thomas F. Fortier, Sr., passed away Nov ember 25th at Baystate Medi cal Center. He was born Jan. 25, 1942 a son to Francis and Helen (Shea) Fortier. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps attaining the rank of Corpral. He worked as a district sales manager for Amtrak. Tom was a proud member of the American Legion in Agawam, a member of SKAL (a travel organization); he enjoyed fishing and gardening, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father and a son William. Tom leaves his mother Helen of Westfield; his beloved wife of 42 years Andrea (Magni) of Feeding Hills; he was a devoted father to his children; sons Thomas F. Jr., of San Francisco, CA, and Michael and his wife Alyssa of Orlando, FL; and his daughter Marie Ball and her husband Wayne of Feeding Hills; he leaves his cherished grandchildren Aidan ( grandpa's little engineer) Fortier, Emily (papa's special angel) Ball, Megan (papa's baby girl) Ball and Logan ( grandpa's baby) Fortier; also his favorite boy "shadow"; his brother Ronald of Westfield and his sister Elizabeth Demski also of Westfield. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 12 noon at Sacred Heart Church, Spfld St., Feeding Hills. Burial will follow in Springfield St. Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Our Lady of Hope Community, Suite 307, 34 Cathedral Place, St. Augustine, FL 32084.
