Madeleine Cadieux > Noel + Marthe Golle From Croookstimes Rose Mary Riendeau Rose Mary Riendeau, 59, of Crookston, Minnesota, died late Tuesday evening, January 3, 2006 at the Riverview Care Center in Crookston. Rose Mary was born on February 16, 1946, at Crookston, the daughter of Octave and Cecilia (Duffy) Fortier. She grew up in Crookston and was a 1964 graduate from the St. Joseph's Academy. As a young girl, Rose Mary worked for a time at a local bakery. On April 24, 1965, she was united in marriage to Joel R. Riendeau at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Crookston. The couple made their home in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota for a few years before moving to Crookston in 1968. Rose Mary kept busy raising her family and she also spent many hours making beautiful quilts. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception parish and belonged to the Eagles Aerie #873 Auxiliary. Rose Mary will be sadly missed a lovingly remembered by all who shared in her life. Loving family members include her husband, Joel; two and sons, Mark Riendeau and Kent Riendeau both of Drayton, ND; a daughter and sons-in-law, JoAnn and William Walker of Park Rapids, MN; four grandchildren, Matthew Walker, Joshua Walker, Nicole Walker and Laura Walker; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Anna Mae Strid of Missoula, MT, Jean Hanson of Climax, MN, Ellen and Robert Patenaude of Crookston, MN, Alice Cummings of East Grand Forks, MN and Emily and Jesse Mayer of West Fargo, ND; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Bernard Fortier of Cudahy, WI, Robert and Connie Fortier of Seattle, WA and Patrick Fortier of Glendon, MN; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Rose Mary was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral service for Rose Mary Riendeau will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, January 9, 2006 at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Schreiner, presiding. The visitation will be on Sunday at the funeral home from 5-7:00 P.M. and also for an hour before the funeral. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Crookston
