Tuesday, September 4, 2007 Jeannette Lambert SOMERSWORTH Jeannette L. Lambert, 97, of 14 South St., died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, at the Rochester Manor, Rochester, N.H., where she had lived for the past five years. Jeannette was born in Somersworth on Nov. 10, 1909, and was the daughter of Hilaire and Laura (Ruel) Lambert. She was raised in Somersworth and graduated from St. Martin Academy, Somersworth High School and she went on and completed her education at McIntosh College in Dover. Before she retired, she had worked many years for the Boston and Maine Railroad in Dover as an office secretary and in later years, for the law firm of Bemis and Davis in Somersworth. She was a very caring and kind person. She was a caregiver for many of her family members, including her mother, sister and brothers. Jeannette will be missed by all who knew her. Family members include her godson and nephew, Richard Lambert and his wife, Rosemary, of Rochester; her niece, Diane Kilroy of Bridgeport, Conn.; her other nephews, Mark Lambert of Greensboro, N.C., Martin Lambert of Manchester, N.H., and Robert Lambert of Glen Elynn, Ill.; several cousins and great-nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters, Leo (Sam) Lambert, Edward Lambert, Robert (Pop) Lambert, Lillian Raymond and Arthur Lambert. Family and friends may call at Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South St., Somersworth, on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Martin Catholic Church, with the Rev. Aaron Pfaff, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
