CLAIRE R. (HOULE) MURPHY - Woonsocket 01:00 AM EST on Thursday, November 11, 2004 CLAIRE R. (HOULE) MURPHY, 76, of Alice Avenue, died Wednesday at home. She was the wife of Eugene J. Murphy. Born on May 27, 1928, in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Victor J. and Bertha D. (Breault) Houle, she had lived in the Manville section of Lincoln for 20 years before moving to Woonsocket 55 years ago. Mrs. Murphy was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, and a 1946 graduate of Woonsocket High School. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Patricia C. Murphy of New York City; a sister, Rita Mieczynski of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Dziak Mahoney of Northbridge, Mass. She was the mother of the late Christine Murphy Dziok, and sister of the late Irene Boisvert and Gloria Pollock Estes. The funeral will be private.
