    3. NORMAND L. ROY - Woonsocket 01:00 AM EST on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 NORMAND L. ROY, 81, of Green Street, a retired weaver, died Monday at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Doris L. (Pichette) Roy. They had been married for 25 years. Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Sylvio and Ida (Robert) Roy, he had lived in Woonsocket for most of his life, and in Wilmington, N.C., for 20 years. Mr. Roy had been a weaver at the former Woonsocket Falls Mill for 33 years before retiring. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, serving as a technical sergeant, and was a member of VFW Post 11519. He attended Precious Blood Church. Besides his wife, he leaves a brother, Roland Roy of Cumberland; a stepbrother, Norman Bourassa of New Windsor, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Friday at 9 a.m. from Menard's Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Avenue. Burial will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass.
