CHARLES J. GODDARD - Lincoln 01:00 AM EST on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 CHARLES J. GODDARD, 77, of Lower River Road, a retired welder, died Sunday at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center of Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, in Providence. He was the husband of Cecilia A. (Wojtkun) Goddard; they had been married for 53 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Charles and Marie (Altobello) Goddard, he had lived in Lincoln for 53 years. Mr. Goddard had been employed as a welder for the Owens Corning Fiberglass Co. for more than 20 years, and also had worked for Atom Mfg. He was Navy veteran of World War II. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Joyce G. Adair in Texas; a sister, Gloria Michaud, and a brother, Frederick Goddard, both of North Attleboro; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and several niece and nephews.
