Marjorie M. Cote COTE Marjorie M. Cote, age 80, of Ansonia, died on Thursday, at the Birmingham Care Center. Born in Ansonia on May 9, 1924, daughter of the late Joseph G. and Helen Duffy Cote. A communicant of the Church of the Assumption, a graduate of the Assumption School, Ansonia High School, a member of the Catholic Daughters, the Rosary Society, and the Children of Mary. She was employed at Osborne and Cheesman Co. and Hershey Metal Co. A lifelong New Yankee fan having attended many games with her family. Survived by a niece and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Anne Simpson; and one brother, J. Leo Cote. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, at 9:15 a.m. from the Bennett Funeral Home, 91 N. Cliff Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in the Church of the Assumption. Burial will be in Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery. Published in the Connecticut Post on 11/13/2004.
