Roger J. Blouin, ALLENSTOWN - He will be missed for his laughs and love November 21. 2004 8:00AM ALLENSTOWN - Roger J. Blouin, 70, of Deerfield Road, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Concord Hospital after a long illness. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. at the Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke. Services will follow at the funeral home at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Payson Center for Cancer Care, Concord Hospital Philanthropy Office, 250 Pleasant St., Concord 03301; or to Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, P.O. Box 1797, Concord, 03302-1797; or to Tri-Town Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 219, Suncook 03275. ~~~ The son of Rudolph and Marie (Laflamme) Blouin, Mr. Blouin was born on April 3, 1934, in Manchester and had spent most of his life as an Allenstown resident. He retired from Grappone's after many years as a mechanic and parts delivery person. He also served a tour of duty with the U.S. Army. Mr Blouin could often be found riding around the neighborhood on a little red buggy, collecting cans for recycling or selling blueberries. Roger was a loving husband and father who was always ready to give a hug or kiss. He will be missed for his laughs and love. Members of his family include his wife, Alice (Gelinas) Blouin of Allenstown; three daughters, Irene Sutton of Hooksett, Mary Jane Ricker of Chichester and Susan Berry of Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren; a sister, Irene Desfosses of Grass Valley, Calif.; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Hertel Blouin.
