Louise Florence Bowes November 7, 1912 - November 16, 2004 NORWICH - Louise Florence Bowes, 92 of Hamilton Rehabili- tation and Health Care formerly of 19 Pacemaker Ave., Pleasure Valley, Norwich, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at W. W. Backus Hospital, Norwich after a long illness. She was born in Pawtucket, RI on November 7, 1912 the daughter of John and Florence Philpot Duby. On November 17, 1933 she was married to David Bowes in Pawtucket, RI he survives her. In addition to her husband she is survived by their children, The Reverend Dr. David Bowes, Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Griswold, CT; Marilyn Ellis and her husband George of Milton, NH and Robin Machnicki and her husband Jo- seph of Vernon, CT. She is also survived by their grandchildren, Scot Bowes and his wife Yolanda of Gales Ferry, CT, Gail Bowes of Holden, MA, Lynnette Astolfi and her husband Renato of Plainville; Lisa Gionet and her husband, Frank of Norwich, CT; Wayne Brean and his wife Jennifer of Westerly, RI; Stacey Cuevas of Pawcatuck, CT; Catherine Claudio and her husband Hector of Gro- ton, CT. Also surviving are their great-grandchildren, Tracey Lee and her husband Lonnie, James, Scot and Jamie Green and Daniel Oliver, John Pescatello, Sean and Gillian Bowes, Ranato, Jr. and Leighann Astolfi, Jessica and Nicholas Cardelle, Heather and Aaron Gionet, Amber Brenn, Nic- ole and Justin Cuevas and Brian, Jamie and Selina Claudio. She is also survived by their great, great- grandchildren, Alixandra, Lonnie and Teia Lee. She was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur Earl Duby and Douglas Duby. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2004 at the Taft- ville Congregational Church, 16 North B Street, Taftville, CT, the Rev. Mark D. Pilletere, paster. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Taft- ville Congregational Church or the Alzheimers Association, 4 Broad- way, Norwich, CT 06360. Burial at Swan Point Cemetery, Provi- dence, RI will be private at the convenience of the family. The Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, Lake Ave., Niantic, CT is in charge of arrangements.
