    3. SOUCY: Leo L., 74 Tuesday November 2, 2004 SOUCY: Leo L., 74, of Camp Road, East Burke, Vt., died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, at home. He was the husband of Noella (LaMontagne) Soucy. They celebrated their 50th anniversary Oct. 16. Born in Lincoln, R.I., a son of the late Laurent and Marie (Matthew) Soucy, he had lived in Lincoln and Cumberland, R.I., most of his life. Twenty years ago, he and his wife built a hunting camp in East Burke and over the years have transformed it to their present home. It became their full-time residence in 2001. Mr. Soucy was employed for 37 years as a toolmaker for Northrup Corporation. He retired in 1994. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and a former member of the National Rifle Association. Survivors, including his wife, are three sons, Ronald Soucy of Vermont, Raymond Soucy of California, and Robert Soucy of Vermont; four daughters, Donna Sidla of Cumberland, Denise Field of Franklin, Mass., Diane McMahon of Lincoln, and Debra Dunbar of Vermont; four brothers, Gerard Soucy of Pawtucket, R.I., Lawrence Soucy of Pawtucket, Robert Soucy of Pawtucket, and Alcide Soucy of Lincoln; four sisters, Theresa Daigle of New York, Irene Soucy of Providence, R.I., Rita Dube of Providence, and Doris Pullano of Cumberland; and 12 grandchildren. His funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 3, at 8:15 a.m., at the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln, R.I. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. in Saint Matthew Church, Dexter Street, Central Falls, R.I. Burial will take place in Saint Elizabeth Cemetery, Lyndonville, Vt., Thursday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leo's memory to Upper Valley Hostel, 17 East South St., Hanover, NH 03755, or the Lyndon Area Food Shelf, in care of Father Steve Nichols, 642 Hill St., Lyndonvillle, VT 05851.
