MATHILDA LARIVIERE - Burrillville 01:00 AM EST on Saturday, November 13, 2004 MATHILDA LARIVIERE, 88, of Maplewood Drive, Mapleville, a retired jewelry worker, died yesterday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the wife of the late Donat Lariviere. Born on Jan 9, 1916, in St. Damien De Brando, Province of Quebec, a daughter of the late Hildege and Alexandrina (Lavallee) Goulet, she had previously been a longtime resident of Manville. Mrs. Lariviere was a line worker for area jewelry companies, retiring in 1980. She was a communicant of St. James Church, Manville. She leaves a son, Lucien D. Lariviere of Mapleville, with whom she lived; a brother, Lucien Goulet of Woonsocket; two sisters, Cecile Cournoyer of Woonsocket and Rita Goulet of Montreal, Canada; and four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was the sister of the late Leo, Hector and Paul Goulet, and Arline Carrier. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from Menard's Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. James Church, 33 Division St., Manville. Burial will be private.
