Andree Amelotte YORK, Maine - Andree C. Amelotte, 62, formerly of North Berwick, passed away peacefully, Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at the Harbor Home in York after a lifelong battle with multiple sclerosis. She was born April 6, 1942, in Marlboro, Mass., the daughter of Roland and Adrienne (Labelle) Amelotte. She graduated high school in 1959 from St. John the Baptist Academy in Syracuse, N.Y., and then from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa., as a registered nurse. She loved working and caring for children at St. Christopher's Hospital in Philadelphia. She was also a member of Bethel Christian Church in North Berwick. She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Carpenter) Cochran and husband, Alex Cochran, of Rochester, N.H.; her father, Roland Amelotte of Wells; three brothers, Richard of York, Pa., Gerald of Troy, and Michael of Lyman; three sisters, Suzanne Golden of Lakeland, Fla., Helene Ennis of Wells, and Anne Stuckey of Englewood, Fla.; and one precious granddaughter, Julia Reede Cochran. Despite enduring 36 years with MS, she was best known for her strong faith, generous spirit, and incredible kindness. She will be missed beyond measure. ---- A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, Nov. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Bethel Christian Church in North Berwick. Refreshments to follow.
