Timothy E. Shampnois, 45, of Blackstone, formerly of Milford Monday, November 22, 2004 BLACKSTONE -- Timothy E. Shampnois, 45, of Blackstone, formerly of Milford, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Blackstone Nursing Home after an illness. Born in Mount Kisco, N.Y., the son of the late Irving and Louise (Vogler) Shampnois, he attended school in White Plains, N.Y., and schools in Norton. Mr. Shampnois had attended Stonehill College. Mr. Shampnois served in the U.S. Air Force. A resident of Norton from 1974 to 1990, he had lived in Central Falls, R.I., and then in Milford before moving to Blackstone earlier this year. He had been employed over the years as a short-order cook at various restaurants, including Bristol Farms in Norton. He was an avid artist and cartoonist as well as a guitarist. He leaves a son, Brian Shampnois of Cary, N.C.; two sisters, Susan L. Bagnoli and her husband, Edward, of Uxbridge, and Carol-Ann Shampnois of Pawtucket, R.I.; several nieces and nephews; and his stepfather, Richard Gordon of Norton. Following cremation, a celebration of his life will be held at Edwards Memorial Funeral Home in Milford, at a time to be announced.
